Logging your calorie intake on the DoFasting app is really simple!
DoFasting meals
If you use a recipe from the app, here's what you should do to add it to your calorie intake:
- Open the Meals section of the app.
- Click on the meal you had.
- Tap Add to daily calories.
- Mark if this was your breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack.
Your own meals
If you choose to use your own recipes, we've got you covered too! To add your calories, simply follow the steps below.
- Open the Home section of the DoFasting app.
- Scroll down to Your tasks for today and tap Log your calories.
- Click +Log my calories.
...From here, if you'd like to add meals and ingredients from our database:
- Choose Search meals and ingredients to explore the database.
- Enter the food you want to log to the search and click + next to its name.
- Choose the amount that you consumed and tap Save.
- Choose if you ate this for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as a snack.
...If you cannot find the foods you're looking for, add a custom meal. Here's how:
- Click Add your custom meal.
- Enter the name of the dish, its calories (and macros if possible), and tap Add.
- Choose if you ate this for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as a snack.
